膜內注塑就是將印刷好的薄膜經過成型沖切后，鑲嵌在注塑模腔內然后合模注塑而制作的產品。它是融印刷、成型、制模、注塑工藝技術為一體，會塑料片材、油墨、塑料樹脂的綜合運用。注塑樹脂在薄膜的背面與油墨層相結合，面板圖文、標識置于薄膜與注塑成型的樹脂之間，圖文、標識不會因摩擦或時間關系而磨損。

主要用于家電產品的裝飾及功能控制面板、汽車儀表盤、空調面板、手機外殼/鏡片、洗衣機、冰箱等應用非常廣泛。
